Approval has been granted for parcels one and six on the 11-acre development which will contribute to the wider 5,000-strong home Linmere community masterplan.
Parcel one will comprise 58 private sale units within Bidwell Green, while parcel six will deliver 107 units within the Barns and Baileys Character Area.
As part of the Section 106 agreement, the development will contribute to three new primary schools and a new secondary school next door as well as public open space and green infrastructure.
The finished Linmere development will include amenities such as a cafe, community hub, primary and secondary schools, play areas, sports pitches, allotments and extensive walking and cycling routes.
